  3. Nov 10,  · My conclusion is Led Zeppelin Presence my #1. Presence is my favourite Led Zep album. (and I've long thought that the band The Mars Volta almost styled much of their sound and approach on "Achilles Last Stand"). Last edited: Nov 10, Chrome_Head, Nov 10, #

  7. This album is unique in all of Led Zeppelin's discography, as it's the only one without keyboards nor acoustics. And now let's begin with the review: 1. Achilles Last Stand - Phenominal. Excellent guitar work by Jimmy Page, he used the same "army of guitars" technique that is used with Blackdog, and it's used to great effect.

  8. Presence, an Album by Led Zeppelin. Released in on Swan Song (catalog no. SS ; Vinyl LP). Genres: Hard Rock. Cassette Warner Poland / Presence. the first track Achilles Last Stand is the Led at the top of their powers. It's very underrated and I find it to be one of the band's best tracks overall.

  9. Maybe the last decent Zeppelin album. The standout track is certainly Achilles Last Stand though most of others are up to standard if not in the front rank of then band's compositions. A slight criticism would be the dominance of the guitar which affects the overall balance of the songs (even if we are talking about Jimmy Page here!)/5().
