  2. The tambourine can be heard in music ranging from pop, rock, gospel and R&B to jazz, Latin, country and world music. The sound, texture and power that this seemingly simple instrument can bring to the music are one of a kind. I have always maintained that a song isn’t complete until the tambourine track has been added.

  3. P.S. This edition, Black Tambourine, differs from the earlier compilation titled Complete Recordings by featuring six extra tracks. The first two are demos of Ex-Lovers and Aggi, which are a bit more abrasive and not bad at all. The other four are recent recordings of songs the band played at shows but never recorded during their original run.
