  2. Nov 28,  · Pink Floyd's music has always been a trippy joy for many, but unlike many of their contemporary counterparts in rock, many have found a unique deepness to their lyrics. Couple that with the stormy story of the band's existence and you have an area ripe for exploration/5(14).

  3. Pink Floyd 's " Careful with That Axe, Eugene " is the Trope Namer, and quite possibly the Trope Maker. The scream in the above song is by Roger Waters, as seen in the trope image.

  5. May 31,  · "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" is a well-known Pink Floyd staple that I believe sounds much better live (on "Ummagumma") than in the studio, although the studio version is still good. Get this CD for "Point Me At the Sky", which doesn't appear on any other CD release that I am aware of.

  6. Disc 2: Track Second Set - The complete late show from this rotdytanseretepharrisunsenasuck.coinfo Smiling People is an unrecorded instrumental that has some similarities with 'Careful With That Axe, Eugene'. Accolades of this are not limited to: early performance of Saucerful (possibly the 2nd time ever played live), and two fairly rare songs in live form.5/5(1).

  7. Careful with That Axe, Eugene is an instrumental piece by the British rock band Pink Floyd. The studio recording was originally released as the B-side of their single Point Me at the Sky which also features on the Relics compilation album; live versions can also be found on various releases.

  8. The second release in a short time of the recently circulated tape source for The Pink Floyd’s incredible concert in Paris in January , this time from the folks at Godfather Records. The first was The Man In Paris (Sigma 89), a very nice release that included a third disc that featured two songs in outstanding quality from a radio broadcast.
